Angels and Demons

Angels and Demons is a movie trailer based on the eponymous film which was created upon the bestselling mystery-thriller novel by Dan Brown. By following a voice over, it represents a confrontation between the Catholic church and the Illuminati, which is a secret society of intellectuals. In the film, the biggest twist was the fact that the Illuminati existed inside the church, not outside of it. To reveal this hidden point indirectly, the gate of the church was used as a symbol to show the contrasts between the surface and the true colors of Roman Catholic Church.

천사와 악마는 댄 브라운의 베스트셀러이자 미스터리 스릴러 소설을 바탕으로 만들어진 론 하우어 감독의 영화 트레일러입니다. 영화의 기본 스토리는 가톨릭 교회와 지식인들의 비밀 결사 조직인 일루미나티 사이의 대립을 나타내지만 사실상 가장 큰 반전은 일루미나티가 교회 밖이 아닌 교회 안에 존재한다는 사실을 보여줍니다. 저는 영화 속에 숨겨진 반전을 간접적으로 드러내기 위해 트레일러 제작 중 교회의 문을 상징적 요소로 삼아 로마 가톨릭 교회의 이면과 내면의 모습을 대비시켜 작품에 나타내려 하였습니다.
